Integrative mental health care addresses the whole person, body, mind, and lifestyle. Many factors can influence mood and emotional well-being, including nutrition, genetics, hormones, gut health, and chronic inflammation. I screen for biological and environmental contributors such as nutrient deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, chronic infections, microbiome imbalances, and genetic variations that may be affecting mental health. By identifying and addressing these root causes, we create a more complete and lasting path to healing.

Root-Cause, Functional Medicine Approach

My approach may include mindfulness practices, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, targeted nutraceuticals, antimicrobial therapies, and, when appropriate, prescription medications. I use functional medicine testing to evaluate nutrient levels, infection markers, hormones, and genomics, allowing for a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Collaborative and Compassionate Care

As a naturopathic doctor and Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider (PATP), I collaborate closely with psychotherapists and psychiatrists as part of your broader mental health team. I also provide guidance for safe SSRI tapering and medication de-escalation, when clinically appropriate, ensuring the process is supportive and well-supervised.

Psychedelic and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Collaboration

For patients interested in psychedelic medicine, I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy through AIMS Institute in Seattle.

Personalized Healing for Mind and Body

Every person’s mental health journey is unique. Together, we’ll create an individualized plan that supports both emotional resilience and whole-body wellness.
